Jazz Scale Cheater

Enter any jazz chord cluster in the same sequence you will solo and the app will then display a minimum of improvising scales you can use to solo.

The purpose of this app is to reduce the complexity of scale selection when soloing. Often a single improvising scale can be used over several chords. This advantage can be difficult to see, however, so the app makes it easy for you. Therefore a minimum, not maximum, of scales are shown.

The Jazz Scale Cheater is powered by the Jazz Scale Suggester System, the first widely available scale suggester first published in 1999.
